Providing Excellent doggy day care & Socialisation services

Dogs are social creatures who are generally happy to play with either people or other dogs. At Paws to Play, they get to do both, in an environment that is secure, stimulating, and lots of fun!

What we do...

We have a big room for dogs that are big in size or energy levels; a smaller room for the smaller dogs or those that prefer a calmer environment; a covered and fully enclosed yard; a puppy zone, and a chill out zone. We encourage rest breaks for those that need it by dimming the lights and playing soft music in the chill out room. All rooms are heated and air conditioned.

Each day is planned with every dog’s breed, temperament and energy levels taken into consideration. Activities include playing fetch or tug with a variety of different toys, tunnel time, jumping hoops/agility games, sensory games, water-play and a pool for hot days. We’re constantly coming up with new and fun things to do and switch toys and activities regularly, although favourite toys are always available.

Why Choose Us?

Our experienced team are always on hand to encourage positive play and good social skills, as well as give sofa snuggles and belly rubs. We use distraction techniques and positive reinforcement to discourage unwanted behaviour.

Medication Distributed

We will give your dog any food or medication they require, although please note that they must be provided and clearly labelled with appropriate instructions.

adequate Rest times

The dogs' happiness is our priority, and all dogs will have rest breaks depending on their age, breed, and length of time in day care. This can be discussed for your dog.

Puppy Socialisation

Puppies will either start off in the puppy zone or in a smaller room, depending on their size, age and energy levels, then move into the different rooms as they grow.

Our Services

When you and your dog first arrive, we’ll check over your dog (after giving lots of fuss first, obviously) before discussing yours and their needs. we cater to your dog’s needs emotionally as well as physically.

Day Care & Socialisation

We have a variety of multipurpose rooms, all of which have a range of sofas, play frames, tunnels, and dog houses, and with plenty of space for both playing and resting.

Introduction & Assessment

When we first introduce your dog, we’ll start by letting them have a good sniff and run around with a member of staff before introducing dogs of a similar temperament.

Groom Room

We have a newly refurbished groom room offering many packages for your loved ones, with qualified and insured staff with experience caring for and grooming many breeds.

Testimonials

See what some our happy customers have to say…
Jasmine Edgley
They took the first couple of sessions slowly to ease him in and help him settle in a healthy way rather than just putting him in time out like at his previous daycare. He comes home happy and tired!
Gabrielle Spendlove Platts
The staff are so lovely, always friendly and happy to answer any questions you have. I send my baby for daycare most weeks and we love the Bark and Ride, pick up, drop off and play. Alfred is always shattered after his visits to Paws to Play and he loves making new friends! As a five month old puppy and an ‘only child’. it’s really helped with his socialisation and learning manners around other dogs. Have recommend to friends already, but would recommend to anyone
Clare Brown
Rusty went for his introduction session and they were so friendly and kind. They really care about dogs and what is best for your own dogs needs. He came home tired which was great. Highly recommend.
Andrea Jenkinson

I absolutely can’t recommend these guys enough, maddie loves her play days and Ben and Rachel (and the rest of team paws) are genuinely the best people on earth and go above and beyond for my fur baby.
Zoe Simpson
We've been taking Blake for a few weeks now and although a bit apprehensive at first he runs in now and can't wait to play. 5* recommendation from us and Blake.
Dawn Coe
Both our mad boxers love to come and play here, pulling to get in when we park up outside, the staff are great and very patient with them. Both are tired at home time but aren't to happy about leaving.
Julie Anne Armstrong
Betty loves her play sessions! She’s an “only dog” so it’s great for her to play with a pack. I also have to keep her on a lead when we’re out so it’s fantastic for her to have offlead time.
Ashley Linegar
My dog adores it here and especially since it has been revamped with the new owners! Always goes happy and comes back tired ready for cuddles!
